Manchester United set for talks with Real Madrid star
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a number of players over the last few months. That is understandable as the club are expected to make quite a few signings over the course of the summer with the aim of building on a solid season which could still bring silverware.
They have already been linked with Real Madrid star Raphael Varane but now it looks Lucas Vazquez could be an option as well.
As reported by Stretty News, Manchester United are just one of a host of Premier League clubs, who are set to meet with the Real Madrid star’s entourage in the coming weeks regarding a transfer in the summer.
The Spaniard is one of the most versatile players in world football right now and can play in any position down the right hand side of the pitch. Also, the fact that his current contract with the La Liga giants is set to run out at the end of this season makes him an even more attractive option for clubs.

Vazquez would be a shrewd signing for Manchester United
The right flank is an area that the Red Devils might need to sign reinforcements in the near future. While Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the undisputed starter at right-back at the moment, someone like Vazquez would provide him with some healthy competition and hopefully, that will help take his game to the next level, similar to what happened with Luke Shaw following Alex Telles’ arrival.
Also, the club need to sign a right winger, which is another role Vazquez thrives in. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 2 goals and provided 8 assists in 34 appearances this season.
Now, it remains to be seen if the Red Devils can get a deal over the line for Vazquez if he does indeed end up leaving Real Madrid in the summer. It looks certain that there will be a lot of competition for his signature.
