Manchester United will welcome West Ham United to Old Trafford this evening in a very important game of the Premier League season for both teams.

On one hand, losing this game would virtually end the Red Devils’ chances of lifting the league title this season. While still mathematically possible, it would leave Pep Guardiola’s side to get 11 points from their last 8 games to guarantee themselves the Premier League. A defeat could also put Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s in the middle of a top four race, with Chelsea, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur all closing in.

On the other hand, David Moyes’ side would be desperate not to lose this game as they have top four aspirations of their own. Thus, expect this to be a very tight and cagey contest.

And with there being fitness concerns about Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial going into the game, Solskjaer will have a tough task on his hands.

Manchester United Predicted XI vs West Ham United

Here’s how we think Manchester United will line up when they take on West Ham United at Old Trafford in a very important Premier League game:

Dean Henderson

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Victor Lindelof

Harry Maguire

Luke Shaw

Fred

Scott McTominay

Mason Greenwood

Bruno Fernandes

Daniel James

Amad

After scoring minutes after getting onto the pitch as a substitute against AC Milan, Amad might get the nod from the very start this time around, especially with the Red Devils being short of options up front.

Behind him, Greenwood, Fernandes and James should comprise of the ‘three’ but it is undeniable that this is a much changed setup on the attacking end of the pitch.

However, you cannot rule out Rashford starting either, as he has been included in the squad. He picked up an ankle injury just last week though and it might be a risk.
