Manchester United have done brilliantly this season, especially when it comes to the Premier League, and currently sit at second on the table. But with Manchester City needing just 17 more points in their last 9 games to guarantee themselves the title, it looks unlikely that the Red Devils will win the league this time around.
The improvement under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over the past couple of years has been very promising though. And it looks like the club are preparing for a big summer transfer window as they aim to return to the top of English football.
One position that has been a worry for them recently is striker. Anthony Martial has not been able to match his prolific form from last season, when he scored 23 goals and was the club’s top scorer. Till now, he has managed just 7 goals this season.
On the other hand, Edinson Cavani has been a great option to have. But the Uruguayan has had his injury issues and could be leaving the club at the end of this season. Thus, it would not be surprising to see the Red Devils sign another striker next summer.

Harry Kane is reportedly on Manchester United’s radar
As reported by the Mirror, Harry Kane is a player who is on Manchester United’s radar. And it is not hard to see why they would want to sign him.
The Tottenham Hotspur man is one of the most prolific strikers in Premier League history. This season, he has 26 goals and 16 assists in just 37 appearances in all competitions. And overall, he has scored 214 goals for the club in 324 appearances.
If Kane was to leave Tottenham, it is expected that they would demand over £100 million for his transfer. And it will be interesting to see whether Manchester United decide to go after the 27-year-old. His current contract expires in the summer of 2024, meaning Jose Mourinho’s side would not be under any pressure to get a deal done for him.
