Manchester United told they’ll win the league if they sign superstar
Manchester United have been told that they need to sign the superstar if they want to win the league and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will probably agree.
Very few players have enjoyed a rise as meteoric in football as that of Erling Haaland. But then, the man does have 16 goals in 12 Champions League appearances, so he deserves it.
The Norwegian is an absolutely world class striker even at the young age of 20 and he is only getting better. That is quite a scary thing when you think about the fact that he has already scored 35 goals in just 34 appearances for Borussia Dortmund.
Clearly he does not believe in taking time to adjust to a new league or surroundings. He is just a ruthless goal scorer who enjoys nothing more than finding the back of the net. And he does that more often than not.
Manchester United might or might not be in the middle of a title race right now, but Gabriel Agbonlahor has told them that if they manage to pull off a deal in January, then they will surely win the Premier League.
As reported by The Mirror, the former Aston Villa man said:
"“You look at the Premier League teams that could do with him now; Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, they could all do with him.“What would he do for any of those clubs now? If they had him in January, whoever signed him would win the league.”"

To be very honest, it hard to argue with him. One thing that United are lacking at the moment is a reliable goalscorer up top. Anthony Martial does not look like a man who can carry that burden on a constant basis. Haaland can!
It is also no secret that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to reunite with his Norwegian compatriot, who he has already managed during their time together at Molde.
Unfortunately, it does not appear to be as simple as that though. First of all, there is virtually zero chance that the Bundesliga side will let him leave in January. Then there is the small issue of Haaland being represented by Mino Raiola, who the Red Devils do not enjoy a good relationship with. That will make any deal very difficult, maybe even impossible.
Also, Haaland won’t have a lack of suitors if or when he does end up leaving Borussia Dortmund. You’d think that any club with the ability to pay his transfer fee would want him. Manchester City and Chelsea have already been linked with him.
