Manchester United player could leave in bargain deal
The Manchester United player has failed to break into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-team plans and could be available for a bargain transfer fee.
Although it is no secret that defence is Manchester United’s Achilles’ Heel, Marcos Rojo still has very little hope of getting meaningful minutes in the near future.
Arriving during the reign of Louis van Gaal back in 2014 after an impressive World Cup campaign, the Argentine has found himself out of first-team plans for quite some time now. He has not played a single minute of football this season and made only 15 appearances over the past three seasons.
And with his contract running out quickly, it is safe to say that he will not be at Old Trafford for much longer. In fact, the Red Devils had allowed to let him leave on a loan to boyhood club Estudiantes de La Plata back in January but he had made only one appearance when the global pandemic struck and derailed the season.

He might be set for a return to Argentina though. But this time Boca Juniors are the club who are interested in the defender’s services.
Boca Juniors have qualified for the semi-final of the Copa Libertadores where they will take on Santos. And club president Juan Roman Riquelme reportedly wants more national team players in their squad.
According to El Intransigente, the Argentine giants have their eyes set on Rojo. And Manchester United are willing to let go of the defender for a transfer fee of around $5 million or around £3.7 million.
That fee is not expected to cause a problem for a club the size of Boca Juniors. And to be honest, that is an absolute bargain for a player who has represented Argentina on 61 occasions. But with just a little over six months left on his contract, United probably consider themselves lucky to find someone willing to sign him on a permanent basis.
