Manchester United set to receive blockbuster swap offer for Pogba
Manchester United might be set to receive a blockbuster swap offer for Paul Pogba from Juventus that they cannot refuse.
It is no secret that Paul Pogba is more than likely to leave Manchester United in the near future. His agent Mino Raiola has publicly stated that his time at Old Trafford is over. And while the Frenchman himself has claimed that he is dedicated to the cause at hand, he has not ruled out the possibility of a move.
With less than a couple of years left on his contract, common sense suggests that he will be off either in January or next summer. Otherwise, United will lose one of their most valuable players for absolutely free in the summer of 2022 when his deal expires.
At this point of time, Juventus appears to be the most likely destination for the mercurial midfielder. He enjoyed an incredible career in Turin which convinced the Red Devils to shell out a then world record £89 million to bring Pogba to Old Trafford in 2016. And now, he could head back to the Seria A.
Juventus have their own issues at hand when it comes to the contract situation of Paulo Dybala. The Argentine was one of the club’s best players last season under Maurizio Sarri but has not enjoyed the same prominence under Andrea Pirlo.

With his contract running out in 2022, it looks like talks over a new deal have stalled between the club and the player although both have maintained they want to continue the relationship. In this situation, the perfect solution could end up being a straight swap between Pogba and Dybala.
According to Rai Sport (via Calciomercato), the Italian champions are thinking about making the swap offer. And it is not hard to see why considering it would make perfect sense for all parties involved.
And to be very honest, if the offer does indeed come in then it might be too good for Manchester United to turn down. Right now, it is unlikely that they can get a huge transfer fee for Pogba. Reports had stated that they were ready to accept an offer in the region of £53 million for the the French World Cup winner, which is an absolute bargain in the present market. Instead, they could get Dybala, who is surely worth more than that.
