Roy Keane sends blunt message to Paul Pogba and Mino Raiola
Manchester United legend Roy Keane has sent a blunt message to Paul Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola after recent events.
A lot has been made about the future of Paul Pogba at Manchester United over the past week. After his agent Mino Raiola dropped a bombshell claiming his time at Old Trafford was ‘over’, the Red Devils also got knocked out of the Champions League, making the week go from bad to worse.
Anybody who has followed the Pogba saga over the past few years wouldn’t have been surprised though. It has always looked like the Frenchman has wanted to leave Old Trafford. And now with his contract running out, things might be out of United’s hands.
His contract expires in the summer of 2022, so if they don’t let him go next summer, he can walk out for free a year later. Thus, the best case scenario would see them move the mercurial midfielder for a significant transfer fee.
One man who doesn’t hold back any punches though is Roy Keane. And he has sent a blunt message to Pogba and his agent. While speaking on Sky Sports and as reported by Manchester Evening News he said:
"“He’s not shown enough of it. His agent has done a lot of talking, but I judge players on what they do on the football pitch. Let’s hope Pogba can do his talking on the pitch.”"

To be very honest, Pogba has not shown enough through the course of his Manchester United career to be considered one of the best midfielders in the world. Of course, he has had his purple patches but they have been few and far between.
On the other hand, in the form of Bruno Fernandes, United have someone who has shown the ability to deliver the goods week in, week out. And in the presence of Donny van de Beek, they have some very capable back-up to the Portuguese international.
As a result, the club are now in a position where they can afford to let Pogba leave and it would not be a disaster for them. In fact, the Frenchman might not even in the Red Devils’ best XI at this point of time. So while his time at Old Trafford might have been disappointing, it is hard to say the same thing about his departure.
