It looks like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wasn’t too happy with recent events and has told the Manchester United board to sell the player.

Manchester United have looked like a team in form recently. Although they did lose the game against Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford last week, 5 wins from their last 6 games is a brilliant return for a side which people have perceived to be struggling under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

One of the biggest strengths of this team appears to be their character. They always seem to perform better whenever the pressure is on.

We have seen that happen multiple times through the course of Solskjaer’s reign as manager. On many occasions, it has looked like the Norwegian was a loss away from getting the sack and on each such occasion, the Red Devils have registered a win.

One man who most probably won’t be at Old Trafford for much longer though is Paul Pogba. It has appeared for years that the Frenchman wanted to leave the club and now with his contract running down, it seems like only a matter of time. His agent Mino Raiola pretty much confirmed that with his comments yesterday.

Of course, these comments could not have come out at a worse time. United are set to play a very important away game against RB Leipzig tonight which will decide their fate in the Champions League. A defeat will see them drop down to the Europa League.

Of course, now most of the media focus will be on Pogba, something which can be a major distraction for the rest of the squad leading up to the game. Surely, Solskjaer will not be amused with the situation.

According to The Athletic and as cited by Metro, the manager wants the club to sanction a move for Pogba as he only wants player in his squad who are committed to the team, something that the Frenchman has not appeared to be for quite some time now.
