Angry Manchester United fans react to Paul Pogba news
Angry Manchester United fans have reacted to Mino Raiola announcing that Paul Pogba’s time at the club is set to come to an end soon.
Mino Raiola dropped a transfer bombshell earlier today when it was announced by Fabrizio Romano that he had claimed that Paul Pogba’s time at Manchester United was ‘over’ in an interview with Tuttosport. Of course, this will not come as a shock to those who have been keeping up with the transfer rumours.
For years, it has appeared that the Frenchman wanted out of Old Trafford. And with his contract quickly running down, it might be the perfect time for both parties to part ways.
One surely has to question the timing behind the comments from Raiola though. United are set to take on RB Leipzig in an away game on which their fate in the Champions League depends upon. But surely the media narrative will now focus on Pogba and the news can end up being a distraction for the players as well.
And a lot of Manchester United fans were clearly not happy with the announcement:

At this point of time, Pogba is probably not even in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-team plans. A couple of years ago, him leaving might have been catastrophic for the club. But right now, it probably would not make a huge difference.
Bruno Fernandes has been absolutely brilliant since joining the club in January and has established himself as the most influential player in the team as well as a leader. And in Donny van de Beek, the Red Devils have someone with a lot of potential and the ability to provide very able back-up if or when Pogba does leave.
As a result, do not be surprised if the club do indeed end up showing the French World Cup winner the exit door in the near future. And with clubs like FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus reportedly interested, they should not have too hard of a time getting a decent transfer fee for him despite the fact that he only has less than a couple of years left on his contract.
