Manchester United want to sign former Spurs superstar in January
According to reports, Manchester United might prioritise signing the former Tottenham Hotspur superstar in the upcoming January transfer window.
Bruno Fernandes arrived at Old Trafford last January with an aim to bring some creativity to the Manchester United midfielder. And we all know the kind of impact that he has had.
Solskjaer felt the need for another creative acquisition in the last summer transfer window. And the manager went on to provide the Norwegian manager with a promising candidate for that respective position. Donny van de Beek joined the Red Devils from Ajax in return for an initial transfer fee of €39 million.
Having taken some time to settle in English surroundings, the Dutchman has started to flourish in his new colours. He was an integral part of Solskjaer’s game plan in United’s thrilling 3-2 triumph over Southampton last weekend. Not only that, but he is also covering the spot for the absent Paul Pogba, who is struggling again with his ankle.

That being said, United might be looking to strengthen their creative department once again in the upcoming January transfer window. As per Spanish media outlet Todofichajes, Inter Milan are set to offload Christian Eriksen from their ranks, with two Premier League sides in the form of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United showing interest in signing the Dane.
The story claims that Inter will allow Eriksen to leave should any club make a significant transfer bid, thought to be around €20 million. Eriksen left Tottenham Hotspur in order to join the Italian side last January. He is yet to justify his position in the current Inter side though and Antonio Conte seems keen to cut ties already.
The Danish midfielder has managed just 310 minutes of football across all competitions in the 2020-21 campaign for the Nerazzurri.
He must have joined the Italian giants in search of a new challenge in his professional career, but circumstances, particularly unfortunate for the midfielder, might bring him back to the English soil.
