Manchester United fans appear to have had enough of the player and want him gone from the club in the next summer transfer window.

By now, it is pretty clear that Paul Pogba has a hard time staying out of the spotlight. Since joining Manchester United, the midfielder has never managed to recapture the form that he showed at Juventus, which convinced the club to shell out a then record £89 million for his services.

Instead, his time has been filled with reports of him being unhappy and looking for a move away from the club. Through thick and thin, he has managed to remain at Old Trafford. But for how much longer?

More from Manchester United News

France national manager, Didier Deschamps, recently admitted that the midfielder is not happy with life at Old Trafford. As reported by the Daily Mail, he said:

"“Paul, I know him well and he knows the group well. He is in a situation with his club where he cannot be happy, neither with his playing time, nor with his positioning.”"

The Frenchman’s contract is quickly running out and it looks like the club are ready to let him leave next summer for a bargain transfer fee after taking their option to extend his stay by another year so that they do not lose him for free.

And it looks like while the Frenchman is not happy with life in a Manchester United shirt, the fans’ feelings towards him are also mutual. Some of them even took to Twitter to demand that the club let him go:

Real Madrid seem like a club who are interested in Pogba. And the admiration seems to be mutual if the Frenchman’s past comments are anything to go by. As a result, if the Spanish giants are ready to match United’s asking price, the smartest thing might be for them to let him go in the summer instead trying to hold on to him in hopes that the move will eventually work out.

We are four years deep into this deal and it is time for the Red Devils to cut their losses.
