Solskjaer has special praise for one Manchester United star
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had some special praise for one of his players after his performance against RB Leipzig.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had a lot to be happy about in recent weeks about his Manchester United players. Not too long ago, it had looked like it was only a matter of time before he would be shown the exit door after the club’s disastrous start to the season. But it is safe to say the Red Devils are well and truly back on track with Ole still at the wheel.
Following the international break, the club had recorded wins over Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain while also managing to hold Chelsea to a draw. But last night’s 5-0 win over RB Leipzig was clearly the best the team has looked in quite a while and it was probably the most dominant display against a top level team since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.
Of course, all the players deserve credit for stepping up. But Solskjaer had reserved some special praise for one player in particular.
As reported by the club’s official website, the manager said:
"“The work off the ball was incredible from all four of them. That’s the basis of the team.“If you work and work and win the ball in good situations to create chances. Fred covered every single blade of grass on that pitch.“I just hope he recovers for the next one. The squad is good and gives us options – 4-3-3, a diamond, 4-2-1-3 or whatever we want to call it.”"

Fred has been brilliant since last season for the Red Devils. After a slow start to his career at the club, he has certainly come into his own and is clearly someone who the team cannot drop at this point of time.
It is only a testament to his performances that he continues to start while players like Donny van de Beek have found it hard to even make it on to the pitch at times.
Of course, his fitness is not something that Solskjaer needs to worry much about. He has already shown that he is relentless in that regard and can play the full 90 minutes on a weekly basis without any worries unless he ends up picking up an injury.
Not too long ago, his signing was considered a terrible one. Now, he can’t be kept out of the team. And United fans will be hoping that he can keep up the form that he has showed this season.
