Manchester United have three big names out of their squad as they gear up to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

It is safe to say that Manchester United have not made the strongest start to the season. While the 4-1 win against Newcastle United must have been a confidence booster, one cannot hide from the fact that problems still remain and they need to build up a good run of results before fans can get excited.

The next step though is expected to be one of the toughest of their season. The Red Devils travel to France to take on Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday. The French champions lost out in the final of last season’s Champions League and will be looking to cross that hurdle this time around.

The tie was always expected to be a tough one and now Ole Gunnar Solskjaer finds himself without three big names in the form of Harry Maguire, Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood.

Cavani has just joined training and is not fit enough to playing right now. Greenwood on the other hand has picked up a niggle and did not even feature against Newcastle United. Maguire also appears to have been injured on the weekend and has not travelled with the squad to Paris. All this on top of the already injured Eric Bailly and Jesse Lingard.

Fortunately for the Red Devils though, a number of Paris Saint-Germain players have been reported to be out leading up to the game. And as a result, it could be a level playing field when the referee blows the whistle on Tuesday.

Solskjaer will have great memories of the fixture and will be hoping that his side are able to repeat last time’s heroics. Doing so will go a long way in erasing the memories of their 6-1 defeat at the hands of Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur a couple of weeks ago.
