Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood has this one confusing trait
By Bence Bocsak
Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood is a supreme talent, however people just can’t seem to figure out this one trait of his.
No eighteen year old in the world has scored as many goals this season as Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood. And in Europe’s elite leagues, only one teenager has more goals than the young Englishman.
The young forward has always been tipped for stardom. Ever since he burst onto the scene at U18 level, his hype swiftly permeated around the club.
People had whispered his name on the terraces of Old Trafford way before he eventually made his debut.

And in true Mason Greenwood fashion, he made that debut in one of the club’s finest hours. On a starry night in Paris, Greenwood came on in the dying embers of the game to help United secure a famous 3-1 victory.
On his first start for the club, Greenwood became the youngest Red Devils goalscorer in a European competition.
The youngster has broken records ever since. Everything he touches turns to gold.
With the trust and faith of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Mason Greenwood has thrived at senior level.
He has everything.
Greenwood can slalom past defenders with ease. His lithe movements make it hard for defenders to stop him in his tracks.
And when he gets in front of the goal, the result is usually with the ball thumping into the back of the net.
The potency of Mason Greenwood’s strikes is every goalkeeper’s nightmare. The 18 year old is like a machine made to churn out one goal after another.
But the most impressive trait Greenwood has at his disposal is that he is two-footed. For months now, Mason Greenwood has confounded his team-mates and pundits about which foot he is more comfortable with.
Luke Shaw once claimed that Greenwood is “100 percent” good with both feet.
The young star takes penalties with his right foot. Highlighted by the penalty he struck against Rochdale. However most of his senior goals have been scored with his left foot.
It makes him a deadly prospect and difficult for goalkeepers to handle.
Recently Angel Gomes was asked on an Instagram Story, what foot he thought Mason Greenwood was and this team-mate said the following:
"“Left I think. Or right. Actually I’m going to say left…I don’t know it could actually be right…AHHHH!”"
United have a unique talent in their ranks. Two-footed players of his ilk have been rare in the world of football. They are real gems and a treasure.
Can Mason Greenwood become a United legend?
