The Manchester United boss seems to have finally come up with the perfect solution on how to solve the striker crisis as the club.
The Manchester United forward has always been a core part of any Red Devils side. From Wayne Rooney, George Best, Ruud Van Nisterooy, Eric Cantona or Denis Law.
It is rare that United lack a strong foundation in that department.
The club’s manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will know all about United’s great strikers. The Norwegian was a forward himself during his playing days and he established himself as a cult favourite at Old Trafford and spent over a decade playing for the club.

In that decade, Solskjaer formed partnerships with the likes of Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Ruud Van Nisterooy and Wayne Rooney.
It is therefore ironic that Solskjaer’s current team lacks so much depth in that department.
After selling Romelu Lukaku last summer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer only has Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Odion Ighalo who can play as an out and out forward at the moment.
With neither of the trio up there as a truly top class striker, (though Mason Greenwood has the potential to be one) it has left the Red Devils struggling to find goals at times.
Often United have failed to finish off their chances this season.
They could have bolstered the squad with the addition of Erling Braut Haland in January but the Red Devils failed to conclude a deal.
However it seems like that ahead of the summer transfer window Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have found the perfect candidate to solve his striker problems.
According to Sky Sports via the Daily Mail, Manchester United are edging closer signing Lyon forward Moussa Dembele with the Lyon president prepared to let him go in the summer.
Moussa Dembele would be the perfect signing for the Red Devils.
The French forward has the pace to suit Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s counter attacking football. He is dangerous in the air but can also dribble past opponents with the ball and his first touch is exemplary.
In addition, everywhere Moussa Dembele has went he has scored goals and that would surely continue at United too.
What do you think, would Moussa Dembele be a good signing for Manchester United?
