Paul Pogba has reportedly made a shocking demand from the Manchester United board in a major twist contrary to previous reports.

Paul Pogba has been an elusive figure at Manchester United lately. The Frenchman seems to have set his sights on a move away from Old Trafford and it has made his relationship sour with the Red Devils.

Despite this, his absence has often been felt on the pitch. His class is still evident and the Red Devils desperately need him back fit if they stand any chance of making the top four and returning to the pinnacle of European football once again.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made his ambitions clear.

Manchester United had stood firm against the perpetual barrage of Mino Raiola’s wrath with the controversial super agent desperate to force the club to sell his prized asset and thus put more money into his pocket.

United need Paul Pogba and the club have rightly been reported to have made a hefty demand for his services in the range of £150 million.

That will deter some clubs, especially since Real Madrid are only reportedly willing to part with £50 million for Paul Pogba’s services.

Perhaps it is those external conditions which have led to the latest reports coming out regarding Paul Pogba.

According to Marca via TeamTalk, the Manchester United midfielder is considering staying at the club under one condition. Paul Pogba’s condition is that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is sacked.

That would be a huge demand from the World Cup winning captain and one that is surely unlikely to be met and unrealistic.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has received a strong support from the Manchester United board despite having suffered some poor results recently. The Red Devils have backed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to succeed and he is expected to be given the time he needs in order to fulfil his vision.

Whether Paul Pogba is in that vision, remains to be seen though it seems unlikely. With every day, his departure seems more and more inevitable.
