Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed a surprising update about the club’s young superstar, Mason Greenwood.
Wonderkids have often come and gone at Manchester United. Many faltered under the expectations and failed to seize their chance.
Rarely some have conversely exceeded expectations and became legends and players eternally adorned by the Red Devils faithful.
After making a spectacular early start to his Manchester United career, Mason Greenwood will be hoping to be among the latter rather than the former when he hangs up his boots in the decades ahead.

Mason Greenwood looks like a born goalscorer and he has impressed with some outstanding and important finishes for the Red Devils season.
Already he is starting to establish himself as a key player of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad and has helped to alleviate the absence of star striker Romelu Lukaku who departed in the summer.
Crucially with the injury of Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood will have the opportunity to make another step-up and it will undoubtedly guarantee him more playing time in the first team.
Having established himself as one of the most prolific teenagers in world football at the moment, Mason Greenwood will be hoping to continue his good momentum.
His form might be vital in helping the Red Devils achieve European success or to give them the important push for the top four in the Premier League.
However, it seems Mason Greenwood might have hit a stumbling block in his aspirations.
The youngster did not travel to United’s Thursday night Europa League match to Club Brugge and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed a surprising reason as to why not.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer informed MUTV via Manchester Evenings News that Mason Greenwood didn’t travel with the squad because ‘he didn’t feel well.’
The Norwegian did not elaborate on his statement and the United fans will be hoping Mason Greenwood is not sidelined for an extensive period.
