Manchester United are set to make a major summer move for the Premier League star and are desperate to bring him to Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s rebuild is well underway at Manchester United. The Norwegian has a clear vision in mind and he is desperate to take the Red Devils back to where they belong. Though, of course, as it is often the case in such a drastic revamp, the United boss needs time and patience. Both are rare in the game of football, especially in the modern age.

The pressure is starting to pile on the United boss with results being not quite what the Red Devils faithful expect from their club. The fact that United are slipping further and further away from the coveted Champions League spot is also a major concern.

However, Solskjaer’s squad is looking better when all the players are fit. With a busy summer transfer window the Norwegian bolstered the defensive side of the team and in January he landed the exciting Bruno Fernandes who will certainly make the Manchester United midfield dazzle.

However, the club are still in need of attacking reinforcements. It seems they have already outlined some targets for the summer.

In addition the left back position also has a major question mark written over it. The club currently deploy Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams in that role. Shaw is rather injury prone and has struggled get back to his form before arriving at Old Trafford. His career trajectory seems to be on the decline. Meanwhile Brandon Williams has done well but he is still unproven and yet to establish himself as a world renowned name.

If United are serious about getting back to where they belong, they will need world class talent in every single position.

This is perhaps why the Red Devils are thought to be targeting Leicester City’s left back Ben Chilwell and according to the Metro United could make a move for him in the summer.

Chilwell is undoubtedly one of the best left backs in the Premier League and he would be a great signing for the club.
