Manchester United: Solskjaer could land exciting Premier League star

The Manchester United boss is keeping a close eye on one of the best players in the Premier League and could bring him to Old Trafford soon.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on a mission. A mission to conquer the world with his Manchester United side. The club’s current boss won almost everything imaginable in the world of football during his spell at Old Trafford as a player and now he is desperate to get that taste of success once again with the Red Devils.

Though of course such lofty ambitions come with patience. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer inherited a squad full of ineptitude and lacking in talent and class.

In his first transfer window at Old Trafford the Norwegian boss worked on cutting that deadwood down and he managed to ship some of the worst players, whilst also adding quality through his new signings. Yet however, the team is still far away from the standard one would expected of the Red Devils.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still conducting his transformation of the Red Devils and that will take time and many more transfer windows in order to mould the side into a team befitting of his vision.

Jurgen Klopp, for example, took two years to take Liverpool back to the Champions League and Solskjaer has only just surpassed his first.

In his bid to get Manchester United back to where they belong Solskjaer has set out a clear vision. The Norwegian has brought back Sir Alex Ferguson’s initial philosophy at the club of buying young British talent. This was evident in Solskjaer’s first transfer window with the club.

And now according to the Athletic via the Busby Babes it seems more British talent could be coming to Old Trafford with the site reporting that Manchester United are keeping track of Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.

Jack Grealish has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season prompting many to urge him to be called up by England.

The English youth international has scored some stunning goals this season and often times his technique is reminiscent of the club’s former legend David Beckham.

A versatile player who can play on both flanks as well as part of a midfield three Jack Grealish could be the perfect signing for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
