Last but not least the final ideal Paul Pogba replacement on Manchester United’s list should be the Serbia and Lazio central midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbian is certainly in the same mould as Paul Pogba. He has the same stride, the same strong physical presence in midfield which enables him to clash with others and win key battles during the game. Add to that there is also an effervescent side to Milinkovic-Savic. He is tenacious on the ball and he can dribble past players with ease. He also has a fearsome shooting ability and the tendency to score some outrageous long range efforts.

Lazio are set to demand a lot of money for the Serbian international but Manchester United will also receive a lot of money for Paul Pogba if he does indeed depart for Real Madrid. That will mean United could easily afford Milinkovic-Savic and bring him to Old Trafford.

His talent could be huge at Manchester United. Still just 24 years of age Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has already made well over 200 senior appearances and has impressed in three different leagues in his native homeland in Serbia, then Belgium and now in Serie A in Italy.

He has the world at his feet and the tremendous ability to change games singlehandedly. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could become a true star at Manchester United and a cult favourite.

United have been linked with him in the past too which means the club are clearly keeping an eye out on his progress. There could certainly be no better way to spend the money received from Paul Pogba’s transfer than his perfect replacement in the Lazio man.
