Romelu Lukaku (65′) – 5

In my starting lineup prediction, I didn’t expect Mourinho to bench Lukaku. But that he did, and when the Belgian finally came on against his old club, he was expectedly shattered of confidence. He was caught offside on more than one occasion, was poor at making runs in behind, and when he received a peach of a cross by Pogba on the right wing, he promptly squandered the opportunity to make it 3-1 and kill the game off. I get that he’s going through a goal drought, but benching him is just going to make things worse in my opinion, as we’ve just seen.

Ander Herrera (85′) – N/A

Jesse Lingard (90′) – N/A
