PLAYER RATINGS: Find out who gets a NINE as Manchester United see through Everton in the Premier League

Attack
Anthony Martial – 9
The French forward continues to be a bright light in an otherwise poor Manchester United side. Unlike Alexis Sanchez (who was bought in January and replaced him in the starting XI) Martial actually runs at defenders, tries to dribble past them, and more often than not, gets a pass or shot off. His curler from the edge of the box added to his repertoire of sublime goals and we just can’t get enough of them. After his recent performances, he deserves to be the first name on the team sheet from now on.
Marcus Rashford – 5
Today, Rashford showed we he shouldn’t be playing as a sole centre-forward for Manchester United. He struggled to hold up the ball, pull a shot off or create anything meaningful for his teammates. I get that Lukaku is going through a goal drought right now, but Rashford offers much less when playing in the same role, so I’d prefer to see the Belgian back next game.
Juan Mata – 6
Although he lacks the pace of natural wingers, Juan Mata nevertheless does a great job when filling in the gap on the right wing. The Spaniard is crucial in keeping our attacks ticking, but this time around, he wasn’t as effective as we’d like him to be, and he must get on the ball more United in the future. Good things tend to happen when he does.
