Marcus Rashford joins an elite club of Manchester United legends after being handed number 10 shirt

Mark Hughes joined Manchester United on two occasions. The first from 1980-86 where he made 121 first team appearances scoring 47 goals. Despite winning the FA Cup and the PFA Young Player of the Year award the forward then moved to Barcelona for two years, one of those seasons he spent on loan at Bayern Munich.
The Welshman returned to Old Trafford in 1988 where he stayed for another seven years cementing himself as a United legend. In his first season back at Manchester United Sparky helped United to another FA Cup and picked up the PFA Player of the Year in the process.
He made 352 appearances in his second spell at the club scoring a further 116 goals, meaning in total Hughes notched up over 450 appearances and ranking 9th in the clubs all-time top goalscorers.
