Manchester United defeated Anderlecht in the Europa League quarterfinals by winning 3-2 on aggregate. The Red Devils will now move on into the last four of the competition with Ajax, Celta Vigo, and Lyon.

The Red Devils put in a very average performance against the Belgian opposition. Jose Mourinho’s team were not able to finish clear cut opportunities in front of goal and this was partly due to a poor display by Zlatan Ibrahimovic. United was able to win the game in extra time thankfully due to a great finish from Marcus Rashford.

The team did just enough to win the tie but this was to a few solid individual performances. The Red Devils had injuries to Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo which forced to them to make substitutions. United will be pleased with the performances of some and disappointed in others.
