Number 2. Bebé

Following a promising season at Portuguese side Vitória de Guimarães, Manchester United signed the 18-year-old for around £7.4 million. The club claimed they would not be sending the forward out on loan, however, the summer after his transfer, he was loaned to Beşiktaş after only making four total appearances the previous season.

Bebé would be loaned out two more times, and never played another game for Manchester United. In August of 2014, it was announced that he had been sold to Benfica for €3 million, four years after he signed for United.
