Was That Carrick’s Last Game at Old Trafford?

The 34-year-old was probably United’s best outfield player last season. This season, though, he’s looked off the pace and struggled in a number of games.

The likelihood is that the 3-1 win over Bournemouth was his final match at Old Trafford.

Carrick, who signed in 2006, has been brilliant for United in the last 10 years and instrumental in so many trophy wins.

An underrated, under-appreciated and unheralded player, Carrick played a key role in Sir Alex Ferguson’s teams towards the end of the Scot’s tenure.

An FA Cup win on Saturday would be the perfect way to end a glittering career at United.
