Arturo Vidal has a “verbal agreement” with Manchester United ahead of a potential $80M move, according to reports in Chile.
Chilean newspaper El Mercurio report that Manchester United are willing to pay up to $80M (£47M) for the Juventus midfielder and have reportedly agreed personal terms with the star on a contract worth $18M (£10.6M) per year.
According to the report, Manchester United are yet to make an official bid and are awaiting a decision from Juventus on whether they’re willing to negotiate for Vidal, who scored 18 goals last season as Juventus won their 3rd Scudetto in a row. If United get a positive reaction from the club, they’ll make their move official.
Both teams reportedly want the deal done by the end of next week, so they can completely prepare for their respective seasons.
